Have I told you that I’m busy before? Maybe that I’m always on-the-go? I think so. In fact, just yesterday, I shared with you my new favorite pants for travel and being active. I’m like most of you reading this, I’m juggling one million things and some days I drop the ball and forget to take care of myself.
Not good. My body needs healthy food to convert to energy. I need fuel to keep me going or else, I end up starving and make not so good for me choices. I’m trying to change these bad choices and honestly, I’m doing so much better, thanks to Stonyfield yogurt. Seriously, and it’s because I have so many delicious choices that I just can’t seem to get enough of for making a healthy breakfast or lunch.
If you’re like me and you neglect yourself and skip breakfast some mornings, STOP! Make a point to make breakfast each day, even if you have to get up 10 minutes earlier. It’s worth it.
Here’s my new favorite breakfast and it only takes 5 minutes to make. (Tweet This)
- ½ cup of instant oatmeal made with milk
- ½ cup of Stonyfield Greek Yogurt (any flavor but I like vanilla)
- ½ cup of sliced bananas
- 2 tsp. of Natures Path Qi’a™ Superfood – Chia, Buckwheat & Hemp Cereal Cranberry Vanilla
I like to layer the ingredients, starting with the oatmeal, adding the yogurt, then then Natures Path cereal and last bananas. It is SOOOOOO good and super filling. It really hits the spot in the morning and keeps me full until lunch, which is great because then I’m not snacking at 10am. I like the Natures Path dry cereal for the added protein and the crunch. The Pumpkin Flax Seed Granola is another favorite of mine and sometimes if I’m in a huge hurry, I’ll skip the oatmeal and just sprinkle it on my yogurt for an extra pick-me up.
