A Going Green Story

Hi nice to see you again! Are you following me on Twitter? Have you subscribed for email updates to receive the 10 free healthy fruit and veggie recipe eBook? For full transparency view my disclaimer! Stop back soon!

I was folding laundry watching Oprah and I heard that there’s all of these toxic chemicals in cleaning products. I knew they stunk and that they gave me a headache. I always wondered. Except the commercials tell me to kill 99.9% of all germs and be a good mom. I want to be a good mom so I kill everything and my house used to smell of lemon and pine. Normal right? So I thought until I watched Oprah.

I researched, researched and researched. I got rid of all my chemical cleaners (25 of them) and tried a variety of non-toxic cleaners. That did not work. Almost went toxic again. Then I got to thinking about what I saw on Oprah and what products she recommended. Why I didn’t start there in the first place is beyond me. That’s how I stumbled upon the greatest products in the World. I’m not exaggerating either. The light bulb came on for me and I realized, I had to do something. I was hurting the environment and my children. I’m determined to do something everyday, even if it is just something small. It adds up. This determination is what has led to Green and Clean Mom. The idea that I want to help other moms be some shade of green everyday.

We can all be a shade of green. What’s your shade today?
