I LOVE the Alternative Baking Company! They kept me very happy when I was pregnant with my second baby...I'm highly addicted to the double chocolate decaence. My only complaint is that haven't found information available about whether or not they are organic. Did you see it on their website?

I agree that the price is pretty steep, but you pay almost that much for baked goods at coffee shops, cafes, etc. I don't eat them often because of the price, but I think they're worth it for a nice treat occasionally. They keep well long term in the refrigerator, but don't freeze well (the company doesn't recommend it), and taste awesome after a few seconds in the microwave! :)

I adore these cookies (but yeah, pumpkin is my least favorite). They are a little pricey, but at about $2/each and they are huge, and a really healthy alternative, I don't mind the price. :)

The double chocolate is definitely worth it...so is one with coconut and I think they even have a cranberry orange (or something) that is also really tasty!

I just went to the Alternative Baking Company's Web site to check on these cookies to see if they would make a good gift for my dad, who has cancer, for his birthday. Holy cow! You have to order a minimum of three packs of cookies. They are $12.50 a pack (for five cookies), coming to $37.50 for 15 cookies.

C'mon that's a rip-off! Close to $40 for 15 cookies? That's an insult, no matter how health the cookie. No thanks.
