By the year 2015, I believe, Teflon will not exist b/c of the toxic fumes. Car companies are looking at indoor air quality and their cars being associate with allergies and asthma. BPA is harmful, there isn't a question about this in my eyes. Only when we try to make ourselves feel better about our past uses and harms do we justify this. I will always advocate for glass or stainless steel over plastic. If you decide to go with plastic, go with BPA-FREE to err on the side of caution. This isn't some paranoia thing, sorry.
