Chapter One Organics

Hi nice to see you again! Are you following me on Twitter? Have you subscribed for email updates to receive the 10 free healthy fruit and veggie recipe eBook? For full transparency view my disclaimer! Stop back soon!

This week, I am pleased and honored to introduce to you, Chapter One Organics. Seldom do I run across a press release that strikes my fancy in such a way. I say this because after exploring the website and reading about the mission, inspiration and purpose of this company…I think, I could hear the heart beating!  The founder, Jennifer Murphy, of Chapter One Organics strives to help children learn about healthy organic food, wear organic clothing, give women a second chance and honorable employment, help the environment and live out her dream.  What strikes me is Jennifer’s, tenacity to not just do one thing but a combination of great things. A Chicago mommy who wants to make a difference and I can really relate to this.  I think most of us can.

Jennifer Murphy wrote a book called the Green Eaters to help teach children learn about sustainability and eating organic. Many readers have commented on wanting to know of more children’s books about living green, well…here you go! Green Eaters is an adorable book that my children (loving animals) could not get enough of.  It’s about five farm animals that go to live on an organic farm, where their dreams come true. It teaches about the ecosystem, healthy eating and what a difference it makes to farm organic. A great lesson on organic farming and one I’m continually trying to teach my son.  It’s a perfect book for teachers who are looking to teach about the eco system, farming and healthy eating! Guess what? One lucky newsletter subscriber will win one!!! Yes, Chapter One Organics will be graciously giving away a, Green Eater- A Dream Come True. Except that’s not all!

Chapter One Organics also has an organic made in the USA line of clothing and one lucky winner will receive not only the book but also an organic cotton onsie.  Could it get any better? Well, actually yes. Jennifer Murphy works hard to give back and not only is she giving a Green & Clean Mom newsletter subscriber something; she gives seconds and clothing samples to families in need. They are donated to the following organizations: www.associationhouse.org, www.babybuggy.org and www.maggiesplace.org.  Like I mentioned, the heart of Jennifer Murphy and the company she has formed beats loud and clear. Thanks for all you do Jennifer!

  33. Awesome awesome! Thanks for highlighting this. First I thought it was going to be about going veg (we could use some new children’s books about that: Herb the Vegetarian Dragon is kind of the only option right now). But I give this 2 thumbs up!
