I love giving gifts. I love giving gifts that have meaning and are inexpensive as well as practical. Like 20 gifts under $20 works for me but even better is a gift that serves as a simple reminder and is it is FREE! No catches or surprise fees, just a feel good, do good acts of green that you pledge in a friend or loved ones name.
Here is how it works:
2. Pledge an act of green, like turning off your computer when it is not in use (my favorite) by choosing one of your beloved Facebook friends. I decided Allison Worthington would appreciate the idea of me turning off my computer for all of 14 minutes out of the day so I decided she would be my first gift recipient!
3. The lucky recipient receives a witty eCard that is published to their Facebook new feed and a friendly message on their wall (see above picture). It is so generous for the giving season and best of all green all the way around!
Wait, you want to Give the Gift of Green and someone you know is not on Facebook (for real?) you can send them a traditional email, the old fashion way I suppose <insert giggle and grin>!
