Go Eco with your stuffed animals!

E-MEALZ EASY AND DELICIOUS DINNER RECIPES

My son has way too many stuffed animals and he doesn’t even play with. They drive me crazy but what do I do with them? This week I have the solution and one lucky newsletter subscriber will win a green or pink animal bag from Boon, Inc. You can recycle the stuffed animals by using them to make a soft cushy seat for your little sweetie. Not only are you reusing the stuffed animals but you’re not having to buy a bean bag chair with toxic fillers. How cool is that?

Subscribe to the newsletter for a chance to win! If you’re already subscribed then sweet, you might randomly be picked. It couldn’t get any easier. One winner will randomly be drawn on Tuesday, August 12, 2008.

Contest Has Ended. A winner has been randomly drawn and notified.

What a great idea! Another wonderful idea is to first take the ones that are in really good condition and put them in the dryer on high heat for a few minutes. This helps “kill” unknown things which might be there. If they’re washable, all the better. Second, look into donating them to either the children’s ward of your area hospital, or any number of worthwhile organizations which help children. They are always looking for donations of items in good condition. I found it’s a wonderful way for your child to get involved, too. Have them help pick out what another needy child might like. Especially nice before Christmans/Hannukah.

Oh this would be wonderful for my great grand children. They have so many stuffed animals they like to play what they call “Swimming pool in their room”. They throw all their animals on the floor and “swim” in them. They jump and dive through them. Its hilarious, but their mother is not too thrilled.

I signed up. My grandson would love this, so would my teen daughter as she has a ton of stuffed animals she wants to keep and no room, this would solve the problem a cozy chair and her animals kept. My 27 year old is expecting his first child its a boy and he is giving his son a winnie the pooh stuffed animal he has had since the day of his birth 27 years ago. Thank you for all the time, effort and energy you use to put these contests together to provide us with some awesome prizes to win.

I think this is a great idea because you still have the the stuff animals if the child wants it.
