Green Talk Radio and Me

Hi nice to see you again! Are you following me on Twitter? Have you subscribed for email updates to receive the 10 free healthy fruit and veggie recipe eBook? For full transparency view my disclaimer! Stop back soon!

Yeah, me. I know, I know, I thought I’d be chattin’ it up with my BFF’s from more Hip Than Hippie first but they’re line up must be too much for this best friend forever, sadness! So I have an interview with Green Talk Radio on Friday at 10am PST. Exciting and far from second best, they just aren’t my BFF’s, you know? Great program with some amazing hosts and a sweet site, they just need a G&CM’s touch, eh?  I am actually thinking and submitted the idea to be a host for a “Green Mom” program. What do you think? Email them and tell them yes, you’d listen!!! So anyhow,  I’m totally geeked and a bit nervous. I have to come up with 5-6 questions and I have no idea what they are supposed to be. Seriously. Questions about…

Me?

Green & Clean Mom?

My business?

What it’s like to “go green”?

I don’t know and this is why I’m asking for H-E-L-P! Trust me, from a person who very rarely asks for help this is BIG! I’m a do it yourself kinda girl (except in some departments) but what type of questions do I come up with? Oh shucks, I know everything about me but what do you want to know? What questions do you, my readers have? I’ll answer them, live on Green Talk Radio and spill the green beans. Got a question, ask me now in a comment and I’ll forward the questions on to Sean Daily, the green hottie in charge. I have to have all questions in by Tuesday, August 19, 2008. So in other wards, ask now!

P.S. Keep the questions relavant to the topic of my blog or me as a mom going green and being a green mom… please!

i think a question about how you handle the "stress" of trying to be green and not being able to do or research everything all at once. it can be very overwhelming sometimes. and also maybe something about how you can spread the word to others (family/friends or random people that talk to you in a store) about going green without feeling like you are putting them down for doing things ungreen. there are so really easy things to do that make a big impact but how do you tell people without sounding like a green know-it-all?

good luck, hope the interview goes well :)
  • How about...

    1. The best ways to save money and go green
    2. The green things that you find most difficult to incorporate into your life.
    3. How your family feels about going green
    4. Your favorite thing about going green

That's all I can think of for now. Let me know if you need any more help and GOOD LUCK!

  • Thank you for this article. I will definitely use it in my education courses to teach about the over use of antibacterials and over fear of germs.

What brought me to your blog is how you are going green one step at a time. It is something you sometimes have to gradually introduce to your family. Realize that spouses may not always be on board with everything and the small changes move us all forward. Also that we all gain pleasure out of something that may not be considered green and how we deal with those things in a real home.

I would focus on how a mom can start going green one step at a time and how it is not done all in one day.
