When it comes to being a mom, most of us like to reach out for advice on parenting issues, what to purchase, the newest trend, safety issues and the list goes on. When you’re trying to be a “green” mom most parenting magazines offer one paragraph here or there about being earth friendly or using non-toxic products. Maybe if we’re lucky they might have an entire article because it will help sell the magazine or they believe it is a trend. News Flash:  Going green is not a trend, it is here to stay. Why people think it’s like leg warmers, McHammer Pants or spiked bangs and jelly bracelets, I don’t know.

For me, Kiwi Magazine is the parenting magazine of choice. It about organic choices, natural living and green parenting. Not just a blurb here or there, the entire magazine! Yahoo! I discovered this magazine when I first realized that being an Eco-savvy green mom was the way to be. Oh, and not because it is or is not “cool” but because it’s how I want to raise my children and what’s important to me.

I’m super excited to announce that Kiwi Magazine would like to give away a subscription to their fine green publication but guess what….so would I.
