I have one of those and removed the sleeve, and withing 2 days, my bad luck happenned and I drop the thing an dit broke into a thousand pieces. It's not very safe w/o the sleeve! Broke as easily as a drinking glass, also.

This may be a great glass option for when you are on the go, but for around the house and at the office, I really like the glass water bottle I got from www.betrulyyou.com . They look great and have a really positive message printed on the bottle.

Hi Bridget,

It sounds like you may want to go with a reusable BPA-free plastic bottle. Our two favorites in that category are the 16oz CamelBak with bite valve (http://www.thesoftlanding.com/camelbak16oz-bett...) and the 24oz Thermos Intak (http://www.thesoftlanding.com/thermos-intak-hyd...).

Both are on sale for a few more days and are very affordable even at regular price.

Hope that helps!

Alicia

I understand Bridget the cost seems high but you have to pay attention to the FREE shipping and sales offered by http://www.thesoftlanding.com and the discounts offered. The bottle is worth it (promise) and I love that I don't have to worry about the chemicals leaching.

If you want a safe plastic for a reuse purpose there are some sales taking place right now you might want to check out from http://www.thesoftlanding.com/sale.html

I'll get Alicia the owner to ring in as well and assit you.

$22 plus shipping is way too much for me to spend on a drink bottle. Does anyone have a particular sort of bottle that they like to re-use for the same purpose?
