First of all, you are great. My boyfriend told me about your site after it was in the NY Times.

I highly recommend getting your own site. It's so easy with the right tools.

I run my own website, which I NEVER thought I was capable of. I used Godaddy to buy the domain name and for my hosting. Their customer service has been amazing. I even called them on Christmas Day (I work too, too much!).

As for the website building part... do you have a mac? We have a mac and I used iweb and I would never, ever, trade it for the world. You can drop and drag photos, add text, change colors, etc., all as if you were in a word document. NO CODES. It does all of the encoding for you and you can change the templates however you like. And it looks good.

Then you just click one button to export your files to a folder and upload them to Godaddy and everything magically appears. It really was that simple.

If you have questions, feel free to ask me. I've had a great experience with GoDaddy and iweb. You can check out the site and see if you like the finished product: The Leash We Can Do!

If you don't have a mac, I have to tell you, it's worth the switch. It makes owning and running your own site accessible. That way you can be a blogger, not a web tech student. It's really saved me so much time and money and allowed me to focus on the things I want to, not the codes and knowledge required to share those things online.

Amy
