I love a hot bowl of oatmeal in the morning. It fills me up and I know it is good for me. It is packed full of nutrition and antioxidants, it is high in fiber, protein and low in saturated fat and sodium. When I add fresh fruit to my oatmeal, I am getting an extra boost of nutrition. A few of my favorite oatmeal toppings are:
- Sliced Strawberries
- Chia Seeds
- Baked Coconut Flakes
- Dried Cherries
- Dark brown sugar
- Greek Yogurt with honey
