Hello,
It is really nice to read this article. Thanks for simple way of writing and giving all the detail which need. Once again thanks.
The right time for healthy snacks is often the time after school, in the evenings, when kids are hungry and the body demands energy and nutrition. But if you indulge in preparing exhaustive and tedious varieties, that consume time to prepare, your kid will look for other simpler options like biscuits and wafers. Hence, just like it is important to prepare nutritious snacks, it is also important to do it quickly.
http://www.medimanage.com/my-kids-health/articl...

Love these ideas. My daughter hates all nuts, unfortunately. Good thing my son loves them.

We give the kids sliced apples a lot. While not utterly healthy, a little dulce de leche for dipping sauce really makes it feel like a treat, even though my kids beg for apples anyhow.

I make excess smoothie into popsicles. Even let the kids have some one morning after breakfast, since smoothies are sometimes a part of breakfast.

Thanks for the great ideas (love the frozen fruit kabobs, my toddler is an ice and popsicle nut)! I also try to make healthy muffins once a week or so, my kids dig em.

Those peanut butter balls do sound delicious. I sent them on to my wife and we are going to make some for ourselves (We don't have kids).

I think that healthy eating for kids is a great thing, and I never thought much about the behavior connection. Although, I must say that part of being a kid involves eating some junk and getting away with it while you still have a super fast metabolism. So long as it isn't a habit then I say why can't a kid have a cookie a couple of times each week? Maybe that could be the incentive to get them to eat the boring stuff the other 5 days a week!

Those peanut butter balls sound delicious. I would eat anything made out of peanut butter. I also remember eating not-so-nutritious food after school, which is strange, because overall my mom was something of a health nut.
