I feel like a kid again!! I confess, I was planning on writing this post much sooner but every time I went to the SciGirls website I got hooked. First I went to the PBS website and then to SciGirls and well…. two days later I am writing this post. You will have to check it out yourself but basically SciGirls is a new show and website for kids 8-12 that showcases real tween girls putting science and engineering to work in their everyday lives. The website allows a sneak peek at a few of the episodes.

    Nice photo-shop effect but we all need one more Einstein so that he can invent new stuff for the greener future so that we can save our plant and save all the precious fuel and water.

    Sounds great. I've put in into the TiVo for my kids. I recently found out that my daughter's second grade class has done exactly one science assignment this year… ugh! This is a prime age for kids to learn to love science if you keep it about discovery and not about heavy duty number crunching.
