I just love Stonyfield Farm! I love their yogurt, their website with coupons and recipes and how they are always supporting good causes. It was just released that Stonyfield Farm is helping the Will Steger Foundation send a dozen young leaders on an expedition to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, December 5-10 to help raise awareness for our kids and the health of the planet. Talk about a great mission!

The point of the Copenhagen expedition is to establish a global climate agreement before 2012 expiration of the Kyoto Protocol, which is the initiative adopted by the United Nations in 1997 whereby 184 nations pledged to reduce greenhouse gas and other emission that contribute to global warming.

“The fact that the United States is the most notable ‘non-member’ of the Kyoto Protocol makes our participation and activism around Copenhagen even more urgent,” says Stonyfield Farm President and CE-Yo Gary Hirshberg. “We are proud to partner with Will and his organization, and the participation of this group of young people is particularly inspiring.”

As part of a celebration, Stonyfield is sponsoring a Climate Conference Sweepstakes where they will be giving away five Trek 7.2 bicycles, complete with upright riding style, puncture resistant tires, and a light Alpha Aluminum frame.

Sweet and what a great way to celebrate! Enter this Sweepstakes which is promoted via the Stonyfield Farm yogurt lids where anyone can enter online or by mail from November 1, 2009 until January 15, 2010 and one winner will be randomly chosen. Complete rules and entry forms can be found at Stonyfield Farm.
