So I am not the only one that feels guilty when buying a magazine. I bought The Green Guide in the past at the store and I felt I got more info from my green mom blogs. I have been going back and forth over buying Plenty Magazine and have not taken the plunge. I may give this one a gander.

If you gals and guys feel guilty about buying the mags, even though they are made from recycled paper, donate them after to the local coffee shop, doctor's office or prison (just cut your name out). Then you know it will get recycled and maybe spread some "greenery".

Thank you Sommer!

The mags I would get at the store try to be green, so good for them we're heading the right way but somehow they always loose me with the "green" Clorox cleaning advertisement!

I'm signing up for positively green today!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this post! I had almost given up on finding a green magazine that focused on topics I care about in a grown-up way. Natural Home is a pretty good one, but I can rarely find it. And I'm getting ready to subscribe to Kiwi Magazine - http://www.kiwimagonline.com/index.php# - but it seems to focus mostly on kids.

I really like the concept of Positively Green, and I'm going to subscribe today. I'm like you -- you can read a magazine on the computer, but there's nothing quite like flipping through the actual book and bookmarking pages, writing in it, cutting stuff out...

Thanks again for this great find!
