So tell me what you think of this video from Momversations? I watched it and I think there are a lot of down to earth points that have been made about toxins and parent concerns. It talks more about the toxins in our food verses the toxins that we breathe. I’d like to hear more about green cleaning, the air we breath and children and asthma from these moms that vblog with Dooce. Maybe I’ll even suggest this and be a guest video blogger and chat with Dooce? You never know but I sent in a email. My face would look good on the page. Someone needs to represent us Green Moms! Right? Hey and who did take a dump in our peanut butter?

    Ignorance isn’t bliss…it’s DANGEROUS!

    Okay, so maybe it is bliss until your child is sick with an overload of toxins.

    Trust me, we neeeed to know about what is going into our children’s bodies by way of foods, toys and so forth.

    Thanks for sharing Sommer – and, yes, you should totally be represented here. I totally understand the frustration of these moms (totally, totally, totally!). And I’m a big fan of balance and not being neurotic and just doing the best you can. But, unfortunately, I really don’t think it’s hype. Parents do need to be more aware. It is not like when we were kids. There is so much more complexity.

    Still, I admit to my own selective ignorance. You can only process so much.

    We green mommies need to do more of our own vlogging!
