5 National Geographic Kids Books for Christmas

If you’re in need of some last minute gifts for kids or stocking stuffers, look no further. I just placed an Amazon order today and it will arrive on Wednesday. So there is plenty of time. As much as my children LOVE technology, I’m supporting books and more books this holiday season. In fact, Amazon has their Kindle on sale, today only, for 50% off! Talk about a deal!

Here are five of my favorite National Geographic children’s books that have made my list this year.

#1  The National Geographic Almanac is a hit! In fact, we have a copy in our van because on long trips the kids can always pick it up and learn something new. The images and facts are amazing. This would make a great gift or stocking stuffer.

#2  There’s something to be said about learning about outer space. I remember wanting to be an astronaut when I was a kid. This National Geographic book would go great with some glow in the dark stars for your child’s bedroom. Just image the dreams they’ll have as they drift off to sleep.

#3  Both of my children love animals but my daughter especially. She loves reading about how dogs and four legged critters save the day. Especially if they’re true stories! Who doesn’t love a rescue story? This book along with a new stuffed animal will make any child happy.

#4  If you have a jokester in the family this book is a must! My nephew loves to tell jokes and I know he’d get a kick out of many of these. There are over 300 jokes in this book and I promise you’re little jokester will get a kick of this Christmas present. Be ready to be in stiches.

#5  It’s time to get cooking! My children love this book and I reviewed it already and can tell you not only is it a fun book to read the recipes are fabulous. Pair this book with some oven mitts and an apron and the little chef in your family will be grinning from ear to ear!
