Holy cow, almost one week and no posts – where the heck have I been you might wonder? Recovering from having two sick children that have continually bounced back coughs, late night stuffy noses and icky tummies!  So far so good, I have not gotten sick but on top of it all my husband has come home two days in a row with headaches and stomach aches.

I think we are over the hump.

I think.

Getting back in the saddle I have a few important announcements to share with you:

1.  National Geographic and P&G Future Friendly have partnered in an elementary classroom contest called Find Your Footprint Conservation Contest. There are six classroom finalists from 5 states vying for a prize valued at more than $36,000 that includes five Promethean high-tech white boards and a National Geographic Library valued at $1,000!

Through March 16th the public can vote for the grand-prize winner! Check out the finalists and their clever video presentations and start voting!

2.  Joe Reilly (one of my favorite children musicians) is finishing up a new children’s album and he is accepting pre-orders! I’ve written about Joe before and now that he has a new album I’m tickled green to share this information with you because advanced copies are signed and that is just awesome!
