That dreaded 6 letter word that everyone fears is heart wrenching, horrific and a mystery to many but it’s as real as real gets. Cancer is a horrible word but affects most everyone is some fashion. I know when I hear of someone that has been diagnosed with cancer my immediate reaction is sorrow, concern and sympathy. My second reaction is the immediate sense of wanting to help them and their family. I can’t imagine being diagnosed with cancer, even typing the words feels unnatural and leaves me with a sense of discomfort.
