I love reading to my children. My daughter actually sleeps with a pile of books and falls to sleep reading each and every night, it is adorable. The other night she fell to sleep reading an adorable book called, T Little Green Books sent me a few books to read and review with my children and we’ve been enjoying the illustrations, stories and reading time together.by Alison Inches.
We’ve cuddled and giggled with the organic and soft touch and feel book called Little Panda and learned all about Adventures of an Aluminum Can and why we shouldn’t throw certain things away with the book, Don’t Throw That Away. My son who is five understands the more technical side of both the adventure books but the illustrations are fabulous and lets me explain things simply to my daughter at her level. There is something for every age group at Little Green Books from the blog, interactive Little Green Games (we love plant your own garden), tips and lesson plans and activity ideas for parents and teachers.
My children and I have enjoyed the website and with Earth Day 2010 on the horizon,is the place to visit. From ordering books to share with your children, to planning for the classroom or learning activities or just simply playing, learning and reading online with your children about the importance of being kind to Mother Earth.
Why not? Great tips for free!
