When I had my first child I was gung ho at making my own baby food. I wasn’t very well versed at how to do it, what I needed and I certainly did not have any books or guidance. I was just winging it and really more than anything else steaming vegetables and mashing them up. Now there are great books, resources, kits and guides to help mom, grandparents and caregivers. One amazing resource that I can highly recommend it Organically Raised by Anni Daulter because besides having adorable photos the recipes and ideas or practical, healthy and yummy!

Throughout Organically Raised you’ll find “Mama Mantra” for inspiration – something I think all moms can use.  A few of my favorite:

“I am so grateful to be creating the time to cook for you. It’s fun and exciting.”

“Every day is filled with new opportunities to show you my love.”

“Creativity is my secret weapon in offering healthy foods that taste delicious.”

Anni does a fabulous job walking any mom through the stages of food for children from baby food, textured food to meals and snacks for toddlers and preschoolers. Frankly, snacks and meals I can eat and enjoy right alongside with the children. From Rigel’s Rockin Fruity Veggie Pops to Zac’s Mac ‘n’ cheese Twist, Organically Raised is sure to please any mother and be notoriously divine for children of all ages!
