Looking for a way to save money and earn bucks? A reputable company has come up with a way to do both. eBay just launched two new programs, eBucks and Half.com.

With eBucks any shopper who resides in the U.S. and is a registered member of eBay.com is eligible to participate in the program. According to eBay, here’s how it works:

Purchase qualifying items using PayPal

After your purchase you automatically earn 2 percent, which is deposited into your eBay accounts; these eBay Bucks accumulate during each calendar quarter.

Upon receipt of eBay Bucks certificates, buyers have 30 days to redeem them through purchases with PayPal on eBay.com.

If you shop on eBay regularly this is a great deal; If you don’t now you have a good reason to start.

EBay didn’t stop at eBucks; they have an iPhone application too; Half.com. Half.com allows you to search for your favorite textbooks, books, movies, music, games and game systems. This application is great for college students heading back to school. With this iPhone application you can search, browse, or scan the barcode on your textbook, music, movies, etc. and find the best price available. YouTube has a great video on the application.
