The laundry is always calling my name!

If you’re like me you don’t especially enjoy laundry. It seems as though when I’ve completed one load and put it away it is time to start all over. For a mom with a busy household easing the chore of laundry is a plus. Actually it is more like easing the guilt of wasting energy and water that makes the chore more tolerable.

Which is what the Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer has done for me.

Saving energy makes me feel better about doing the laundry.

Laundry is a bit more fun when I know that I can dry my laundry efficiently and use less energy. The Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer actually work in tandem like they are married or something.  The dryer technology senses know when clothes are dry verses a set cycle that dries for 60 minutes even if your clothes are burning hot and shrinking. No cycle needed with the Whirlpool Duet dryer and its 7.4 cubic feet drum that is just waiting for you to fill it so it can sense when you’re clothes are perfectly dry! With the eco Boost setting I certainly don’t mind using this dryer when line drying is not an option.

The washer also exceeds energy saving requirements which once again, makes laundry a bit more fun. I’m easy to please when it comes to household chores if I know my appliances are efficient, eco-friendly and saving me money. I’m not about to throw pennies out the door! The washer only uses 11.5 gallons of water which in comparison to my last washer is a big savings! In fact, if you used the Whirlpool Washer in your home you could potentially save 12,857 gallons of water each year!

Wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t have to worry about dryer settings, wasting water and know that you’re actually saving energy while washing those grass stains?

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a test-drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Whirlpool and received a complimentary Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer to facilitate my review.
