I blend a lot. That means I use my blender often and have a history of making the blades start to smoke and pieces and parts end up in the trash or recycle bin. My most recent blender (I’ll forgo adding a brand name) doesn’t even blend crushed ice well. Imagine what a mess I get when I add frozen spinach, strawberries and coffee cubes! It’s far from a smoothie!
I’m using the Ninja Ultima™ blender and we’ll that sucker has some blending power! It’s loud but you know it’s working and everything solid comes out smooth! It’s high power alright and at half the price of other blenders on the market…maybe one starting with a “V”. (Just giving you a hint!)
The pro blender can grate cheese, make ice cream, juice, soup, and crush ice. 2/5 peak horsepower motor and don’t work it is easy to clean with all the pieces and parts coming off easily! And it has a safety feature that won’t allow someone to start the blender until everything is locked and in place.
If you’re looking for soup, salads, desserts, smoothies or cocktails recipes the Ninja website also has you covered! I love this because it is gives me new ideas and ways to utilize my Ninja Ultima™! One of my favorite recipes is the Artichoke Dip and you can get all the details and more at the Ninja Ultima™ website:
1 cup mayonnaise 4 oz can marinated artichokes (reserve 2 tbsp liquid) ½ pound low fat mozzarella cheese, cut into large pieces ½ cup Parmesan cheese, cut into pieces or grated 2 green onions, sliced 1 round sourdough bread, cut into 2 inch pieces
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Place the mayonnaise, artichokes with 2 Tbsp. of liquid, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan in the bowl, blend on 2 for 20 seconds or until uniformly smooth. Spoon the dip into a heat-proof serving dish and bake for 20 minutes.
