If your husband could pick his biggest pet peeve about you what would it be? My husband would say stealing his socks. I don’t know why but I like his socks much better than my own. By the time he gets around to wearing his dress socks they’re already dirty and his athletic socks have holes in the heals from using them to work out in. He tries buying me socks as stocking stuffers at Christmas with the hope that I will quit wearing his but it never works. He always buys me girlie socks verses hefty duty man socks so I revert to using his again. That is until now.
If the above mentioned reasons weren’t enough to make up an awesome sock they are also produced from Bamboo and 90% of their socks are made in the USA. Why is Bamboo such a great choice? The natural fiber is super soft, moisture wicking and doesn’t harbor odor. The bamboo is grown without pesticides or chemicals, is 100% biodegradable, and naturally regenerative. Bamboo does not need to be replanted after harvest because, unlike trees, bamboo will regrow right from the cut, bamboo creates 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees while absorbing 5 times the greenhouse gases. Due to the fact that bamboo roots stay in the ground when cut, it protects the soil from erosion and keeps it nutrient rich. With so many uses, there is little to no waste with harvested bamboo, every part is used. These socks are eco-friendly and are offered in over 100 different colors and styles such as diabetic socks, compression socks, work socks, active sport socks, hiking socks, and athletic tubes, all of which are made from bamboo.
I won’t ever have to steal my husband socks again as long as he purchases me Ecosox’s. They will have to add a line of dress socks in order for me to stay out of his drawer for good but in the mean time I am looking forward to adding to my athletic sock collection and trying out the hiking socks to keep my feet warm this winter.
Why not? Great tips for free!
