Back to basics- Salsa

7 cups cored and peeled tomatoes

2 cups chopped onion

1 cup chopped green pepper

6-8 chopped jalapenos

3 cloves chopped garlic

½ tsp cumin

¾ cup white vinegar

Squeeze of lime (optional)

Cilantro to taste (optional)

Add all ingredients together and cook for about 30 minutes. Stir frequently. Place hot salsa in hot jars and place 2 piece lids. Hot water bath can for 20 minutes.
