Have you heard of Moringa oleifera? I had not but I guess it was featured on the Dr. Oz show so this got my attention. I recently tried Moringa Oleifera from Morninga Source™ and after doing some research and reading  the facts and how the products work; I was interested in the potential health benefits.

According the Morninga Source™:

Moringa oleifera is a species of tree native to the Himalayan Mountains of Northern India, now cultivated across Southeast Asia, Africa and South America. Packed with a full spectrum of nutrients, Moringa oleifera is the most nutrient-dense plant ever studied.  Moringa leaf powder is a natural plant product for general health that promotes cardiovascular, neurological, prostate, vision health, proper digestion, energy and a normal healthy immune system support. Moringa leaf provides antioxidants, proteins, vitamins, amino acids, flavonoids, fibers, minerals, chlorophyll, beta carotene and phenols benefits. Moringa leaf powder has more than 90 essential nutrition compounds.

Personally I was interested in the anti-aging properties and benefits for my skin, increased clarity and energy. After all the reading about Moringa being packed full of vitamins and antioxidants – 46 antioxidants to be exact I figured it was worth a shot so I’ve been trying the capsules, oil and tea.

Do I like the products?

Honestly, the capsules are very large and you’re supposed to take two of these daily but I slack on this often so I’m not sure if I’ve noticed a difference from the capsules. The oil, I like very much. It has a pleasant smell and my skin does seem to feel and look better after using it consistently. I use it nightly just a dab and it’s very nice! According the Moringa Source™ the oil has benefits for skin care that include wrinkle reduction and skin blemish removal. Which is a selling point for me and I can honestly say it quickly is absorbed by my skin without leaving me feeling greasy or gross.

The tea is also quiet good and with the antioxidants there are of course, many positive benefits. With the variety of ways to incorporate Moringa oleifera into your life there’s a solution for you whether it is with the tea, capsules or oil.   Learn more about Moringa Source™ and decide if the product is something you might be interested in. Personally, I’ve been satisfied and look forward to seeing how this natural product expands into the health and beauty industry in the next few years. Oh and don’t forget you should always consult with a health professional if you have questions.

Tell me, have you tried or heard of Moringa oleifera and if so what did you hear or think of the product(s)?
