I have such fond memories of my grandmothers. I’m a very luck girl because I had three grandmothers that loved me dearly and taught me so much. Which is why, I’m always happy to share some of what I’ve learned from them, to pass on their good graces and lessons.
Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of writing for a client on behalf of Home Depot as a subject matter expert (SME). My grandmothers would be proud. In fact, I shared a little story about my great grandmother and a recipe I learned from her, years and years ago. I’ve adapted it and made it my own, probably similar to what others have made or make. Regardless, it is yummy, homemade freezer cucumbers. Hopefully, you’ll get a chance today to check out the recipe on the KGI blog. You can also see my how-to on making an edible centerpiece.
If you’re interested in learning more about how to freeze and use the cucumbers, my friend, Anna Hackman with Green-Talk, just wrote about how to freeze cucumbers. Great advice!

Thanks for sharing my article. Out of desperation comes ingenuity. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself.
Very true!
