Reindeer sandwiches are a healthy and nutritious snack and DIY activity for children this holiday season but sometimes the children just need something smaller to pop into their mouths instead of the sprinkled holiday chocolates and cookies. A healthy alternative that children love to make on their own and will enjoy any time of the day, holiday snowballs.
What you need:
1/2 cup of natural peanut butter
1/4 cup of powdered milk
Finely shredded coconut
Mixing bowls
Mixing spoon
What to do:
1. Mix the peanut butter and powdered milk.
2. Shape into small balls.
3. Roll balls in coconut.
4. Put into refrigerator until firm.
Holiday snowballs are delicious and protein-packed snacks to give children the energy they need versus a sugar high. My children enjoy this snack and love making the snowballs. This is a nutritious treat to bring to a class party if there are no peanut allergies!
